The Umbrella Academy season 3 was packed with twists and turns, including one of the team’s members, Allison, going on an antagonistic path, suggesting that she will be the main villain in season 4 – but she already is the villain. Created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy is a comic book series that made the jump to the world of streaming in 2019 thanks to Netflix, becoming one of the platform’s most popular titles, allowing it to continue for two more seasons.
The Umbrella Academy follows the Hargreeves, seven adopted siblings who along with other 36 children around the world were born in mysterious circumstances. Scientist and billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves set out to adopt as many of those babies as he could but he only got seven, and as they developed superpowers, he trained them and formed “The Umbrella Academy”. However, as Reginald wasn’t a good father, the team parted ways as the years went by, and reunited years later for his funeral and to stop the apocalypse. Since then, the team has prevented three ends of the world but their problems are far from over, as they are now facing a threat among them.SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The first season of The Umbrella Academy saw the team dealing with Leonard Peabody and Viktor’s (Elliot Page) unleashed powers, and in season 2 they had to fight against The Handler (Kate Walsh). In season 3, the Umbrella Academy met the Sparrow Academy, and together they did their best to get rid of the kugelblitz, created by the arrival of the Umbrellas to this timeline. In addition to that, they were tricked by Reginald into resetting the timeline, and for that, Reginald joined forces with Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman). Her actions in The Umbrella Academy season 3 have led to speculation about Allison becoming next season’s villain, but in reality, she already is a villain.
Umbrella Academy Season 3 Already Proved Allison Is A Villain
When the Hargreeves returned to their present (2019), they landed on a timeline where Reginald is still alive and he formed The Sparrow Academy with other kids (and Ben), but the actions of the Umbrellas in the 1960s had bigger consequences than the creation of a different team. As Harlan was left with some of Viktor’s powers and no control over them, when his mother, Sissy, died on the same day the 43 kids were born, he unleashed his power and killed many of the women who would give birth to those kids, including the mothers of the Umbrellas, meaning that they were never born in this timeline. Although this didn’t bring any consequences to the personal lives of most of the team, this meant Allison never had her daughter, Claire, and this heavily impacted her.
Allison was desperate to return to her original timeline to reunite with Claire, which led her to kill Harlan and make a deal with Reginald, turning her into the antagonist of The Umbrella Academy season 3 as well as a villain. Five (Aidan Gallagher) mentions to Viktor that when a superhero works alone, they become a villain, and that’s pretty much what Allison did in The Umbrella Academy season 3. Allison killed Harlan and delivered his body to the Sparrows in order to get the briefcase, she made a deal with Reginald behind her siblings’ backs and for her own benefit, and rumoring Luther into wanting her also falls into villain territory. Allison is already a villain and she could continue on this path in The Umbrella Academy season 4, but her transformation is already complete.
