Bachelorettes Gabby & Rachel Challenge Each Other To Best Friends Test

Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, stars of The Bachelorette season 19, are best friends, and they challenged each other to a best friends test. Gabby, a 31-year-old ICU nurse from Denver, and Rachel, a 26-year-old pilot and flight instructor from Clermont, Florida, became best friends after their tumultuous experience on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor earlier this year. Clayton broke up with both Rachel and Gabby after telling all three of his final women that he loved them. He realized that he loved Susie Evans "the most," and they are still together. Rachel and Gabby were left confused and heartbroken.

At the "After the Final Rose" episode of Clayton's season of The Bachelor, host Jesse Palmer announced that Gabby and Rachel would be dual leading ladies on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Together they had survived what became known as "The Rose Ceremony from Hell," when Clayton admitted to sleeping with both women during their Fantasy Suite dates and said that he fell in love with the both of them and Susie. Susie had left because of Clayton's actions, and he begged Gabby and Rachel to stay and give their relationships another chance. They both agreed, but he later broke up with them together in the same room for Susie. This bonded the women even more.

Now Gabby and Rachel are moving on, and, in a post on the Instagram page of Buzzfeed, they challenged each other to a best friends test to see which of them knows the other better. The first question was about Rachel's ideal date, which Gabby correctly answered should be "something adventurous in the beginning because you're an adrenaline junkie. And maybe something romantic." Rachel then correctly identified Gabby's coffee order as an Americano with half-and-half. Both Gabby and Rachel knew each other's astrological signs which are Capricorn and Pisces, respectively. The Bachelorette women laughed at the next question which was about Rachel's favorite outdoor activity. Gabby said, "Drinking?" and Rachel added, "Drinking on patios and going in a hot tub," laughing that "that's as close to camping as we'll get."

Some of the questions allowed The Bachelorette stars to delve more deeply into their friendship. Gabby gushed about Rachel's best quality which she said is that Rachel is "so charismatic that people are naturally drawn to you. I think you can be put in any scenario and make the best out of it." Rachel then correctly identified Gabby's red flags, saying that men have to be really good at communicating, have a sense of humor, and be able to keep up with Gabby's sense of humor. She said that Gabby wants someone who is not too sensitive and "can roll with the punches." Gabby said, "Sensitivity, ick." Gabby then asked Rachel to identify what Gabby loved most about filming the season. Rachel replied, "I feel like this season was so amazing because we kind of took it all back into our own hands. And I feel like you really got to show who you are. I mean, we went to some amazing places, so, of course, that was awesome, but I think really being able to be empowered as women was kind of the best part of it." Rachel added that she has so many friends whom she has known for so long that she does not know on the level that she knows Gabby, and Gabby agreed. Gabby said that after everything that they have been through together, "it's impossible not to form a bond, and you're such an amazing person that it's easy to be friends with you." They ended the clip as they both shouted, "I love you!"

These were just some of the highlights from their best friends test, the rest of which can be watched in the above clip. It is refreshing to see women on The Bachelorette supporting each other, instead of the usual drama and arguments that The Bachelor franchise has aired throughout the years. Gabby and Rachel are best friends who want to lift each other up. Whether or not they found love on their season, their friendship is a gift to them both.
