Chris Pratt Praises Jurassic World's Bryce Dallas Howard In Sweet Post

Jurassic World's Chris Pratt takes to social media to celebrate his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard in a sweet post. Pratt and Howard first joined the Jurassic Park franchise with the 2015 soft reboot, Jurassic World. Despite mixed reviews, the film proved immensely popular with audiences with Jurassic World pulling in over $1.6 billion at the box office. It's totals made the film the second-highest-grossing film in 2015 behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the seventh highest-grossing film of all-time (not adjusted for inflation). As a result of its financial success, Universal Pictures expanded the franchise with two animated series, video games, and two direct Jurassic World sequels.

Pratt and Howard returned to their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018, and subsequently Jurassic World Dominion, the final film in the saga that began in 1993 with Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. The latest film brought the lead actors of the original film and the lead actors of the Jurassic World franchise together in one final sendoff to the franchise. However, producer Frank Marshall has left the future of the franchise open to more projects. As the film continues its theatrical run, Pratt honors his beloved co-star.

Pratt's post is a touching tribute to his co-star, calling it an "honor" to have worked with her for the better part of a decade. Jurassic World trilogy stars Pratt and Howard appeared to have become close friends off-screen, which has undoubtedly positively affected their performance on-screen as the duo were praised for their chemistry in the films. With their story now at an end with Jurassic World Dominion, Pratt's social media post is a heartfelt message of gratitude and absolute respect to his longtime co-star and friend.

With Jurassic World Dominion billed as the conclusion of the franchise, Pratt and Howard's tenure in the series is likely over. There's always a chance they return for another project down the line, but there do not appear to be immediate plans for a future installment. But since Pratt and Howard have formed a special bond and friendship with their work on Jurassic World, it would be interesting to see them reunite in a different movie or TV show. Howard has a blossoming directorial career with her work at Lucasfilm, so perhaps she could cast Pratt in something. Pratt, of course, is also known for playing Star-Lord in the MCU, and with the number of Marvel films and shows in development, there could be room for Howard to join the franchise as well. Hopefully Jurassic World Dominion isn't the last time the two are together onscreen.
