David Habour and Pedro Pascal have joined HBO's limited series My Dentist's Murder Trial. David Harbour is known for his portrayals of Jim Hopper on Stranger Things and the Red Guardian in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Black Widow movie. Pedro Pascal most notably plays the title character on The Mandalorian and was briefly Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones.
Variety reports that Pedro Pascal and David Harbour have been cast in My Dentist's Murder Trial, an HBO limited series. The series is based on actual events described in the New Yorker article "My Dentist's Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation" by James Lasdun. The plot will center on Dr. Gilbert Nunez, who was charged with the murder of Thomas Kolman. While it will be some time before audiences see Pascal and Harbour step into these new roles, the two have many projects lined up for them. Pascal is starring in the upcoming HBO show "The Last of Us," based on the popular video game, and season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to premiere in 2023. Harbour can be seen this December in Violent Night, where he will be playing a killer Santa Claus, and in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things reprising his role as Jim Hopper. Though My Dentist's Murder Trial is still in the early stages of development, David Harbour and Pedro Pascal's castings will surely attract many people to tune in when the show eventually drops.
