News that Miranda Richardson will take over the role of Headmistress Rosalind from Lesley Sharp will catch the attention of many, as Rosalind is set to have a major role to play after season 1 ended on a rather intense cliffhanger that saw her murder the school's previous headmistress. News surrounding Fate: The Winx Saga season 2 has been fairly sparse up until this point, so many will likely be delighted to learn that this exciting new installment is finally around the corner. With Young also having previously discussed how season 1 of Fate: The Winx Saga simply scratched the surface of the Winx world, it seems audiences have a lot to look forward to as season 2 approaches.

With trouble brewing on the horizon for Bloom and her friends, it will certainly be exciting to see how these new cast members fit into the mix and what sort of roles they'll play as the students face all new challenges this time around. With these interesting new additions, accompanied by the promise of exciting adventures ahead, Netflix will most certainly be hoping to replicate the enormous success of Fate: The Winx Saga's season 1. However, only time will tell as audiences now gear up to return to Alfea for a new term of magic and mystery.
