Kim Kardashian & Kylie Jenner Fans Think They're Launching An App

Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner's recent plea for Instagram to return to the way it used to be has The Kardashians fan thinking the two might be launching their own app. Since TikTok's rise in popularity, the famous photo-sharing app has been incorporating its own video-sharing features, like Instagram Reels, and users are not happy. Instagram users wish the platform would stick to prioritizing photos since this is what they signed up for in the first place. However, Instagram doesn't seem to have any plans to listen to what its users want. Instead, the platform insists they're promoting videos because that's what people are most interested in.

The Kar-Jenners were quick to stand up to the platform about the recent change. Kim and Kylie both shared a post on their Instagram Stories asking the platform to go back to the way it used to be. The Kardashians stars utilize the app to promote their businesses and their extravagant lifestyle. It makes sense why they would want the app to stay the way it is. After all, TikTok has a much different environment, and the reality TV stars are more likely to show their funny, relatable sides on the video app. TikTok users are less likely to be interested in the kind of content that the Kar-Jenners share on Instagram. If the famous family can't use the platform the way they used to, they might have an alternate plan.

Fans believe that Kim and Kylie are up to something, and their mutual Instagram posts were hinting at their next business venture. TikTok user posted a very interesting theory regarding Kim and Kylie's feud with Instagram. In response to a follower asking why someone hasn't created their own photo-sharing app to replace Instagram, the TikTok user said Kim and Kylie may be doing just that. The user pointed out that a couple of weeks ago, the popular celebrity gossip social media account DeuxMoi shared that a certain celebrity, who favors photoshopping their pictures, would be launching their own social media app called daylyy. The user initially thought the rumor could be about Kourtney Kardashian, but since Kim and Kylie's posts, it looks like it could be about the sisters instead.

"I'm starting to wonder if maybe they're gonna start their own app, and that's why they're calling out Insta," the user said. The TikTok user also shared a few screenshots from the brand's Instagram account. The account currently has almost 700 followers and follows all of the Kardashians and their brands, including SKIMS, Good American and 818 Tequila. The Instagram account also recently shared a photo of Kim's ex-husband Kanye West holding up a paper edited to say, "Download daylyy." Many other fans of The Kardashians agreed with the theory, with one fan pointing out that the brand may have left a telling clue on their website. "On their website they say 'daylyy is for keeping up with daily life,'” the fan wrote, clearly seeing the correlation between the app and the stars' former reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Fans wonder if Kim and Kylie are actually frustrated with Instagram that they would both share the same post on their Stories or if they have a secret agenda. At this point, the Kar-Jenners seem determined to take over the world, and since they've already tackled television, fashion, makeup, skincare and alcohol, social media could their next market. No one knows Instagram better than the Kar-Jenners, and if users are growing tired of the app's antics, now would be the perfect time for Kim and Kylie to launch an alternative. Whether the general public likes them or not, they might not be able to resist joining The Kardashians stars new app if it offers them everything that Instagram has taken away.
