In a new preview of Superman Son of Kal El #13 by DC Comics, Jon Kent's Superman ends up hiding his boyfriend in the "safest place on Earth," only to find out Dreamer found a way to get inside without even opening the door.
Nia Nal's Dreamer is becoming DC Comics canon as the Arrowverse hero, originally played by Nicole Maines in The CW series, Supergirl, is set to appear in the upcoming issue of Superman Son of Kal-El. The fan-favorite trans hero's naltorian heritage gives her incredible powers allowing her to see the future through dreams. Dreamer can also dream-walk, enabling her to access other people's dreams. In a brand new preview of Superman: Son of Kal-El #13 by Tom Taylor, Nicole Maines, Clayton Henry, Marcelo Maiolo, Matt Herms, and Dave Sharpe, Jay Nakamura's role with the underground news organization the truth has been made public, leading Superman to take his boyfriend to the safest place he can think of, the Fortress of Solitude. However, when they arrive, he's shocked to see the Arrowverse hero Dreamer inside enjoying a cup of tea with Kelex.
How did Dreamer break into one of the most secure places on Earth? In the ensuing conversation with Superman, Nia Nal introduces herself and tells him that she used a new power to get inside the Fortress of Solitude. She explains that she connected with one of the creatures inside the fortress and stepped inside their dreams, then, stepping out, traveled across the physical realm into the Fortress. It's a new use of her powers not seen during Dreamer's Arrowverse adventures. But, she isn't just enjoying a cup of tea but says she has to show Superman something as the DC Comics preview ends.
It's one heck of an introduction to the main DC Comics canon for the Arrowverse hero, as Dreamer manages to do the seemingly impossible and break into the Fortress of Solitude, all while using an incredible new power to do so. It will be exciting to see Dreamer work with Jon Kent to face whatever comes next for the heroes, as the pair with be teaming up in the issue. Hopefully, it's the first of many appearances for Dreamer in Superman's adventures and the main canon of the DC Universe. Superman: Son of Kal-El #13 by DC Comics arrives in comic book stores on Tuesday.
