Tan Mo blinked listening to the ringtone. She wondered why it sounded more and more familiar.

Then, it suddenly dawned on her.

“My phone’s ringing.” It finally clicked in Tan Mo’s head. “What time is it?”

“Can you still move?” Wei Zhiqian noticed that the little lady had become helpless and breathless from his kissing.

Tan Mo paused at his words, and her face flushed red again.

She thought, ‘Has he always been like this?’

She couldn’t call him a thug since he didn’t talk like one.

Yet, that seemingly harmless sentence coming out from his mouth sounded somewhat mocking and full of connotation.

“I’ll get you your phone. Don’t move,” Wei Zhiqian said. Pinching the tip of her nose, he casually slipped out of bed.

It was then that Tan Mo finally saw Wei Zhiqian’s body in full view.

His black trousers were still intact.

However, the black shirt he wore was completely disheveled.

It was even more ruffled than it looked when he was laying on the bed.

Most of the wrinkles on his shirt were caused by her vigorous grasping.

His shirt looked even more undone as it hung loosely on his broad shoulders.

Almost half of his chest was exposed.

She could even see the top of his rock-solid abs.

Wei Zhiqian didn’t bother to straighten up his clothes. After all, he was now her boyfriend. There was no need for him to feel shy.

In fact, he wanted her to soak it all in.

With that thought in mind, Wei Zhiqian lowered his head slightly, pondering whether he should just take off his shirt.

However, the ringing phone in the living room was urging him to go.

Wei Zhiqian had to shove this idea aside for now and made his way to the living room.

He picked up the phone and saw that it was a call from Qin Muye.

Wei Zhiqian decided not to answer and strode back to the room.

Tan Mo had sat up.

Since Tan Mo was drunk last night, she had suddenly thrown herself onto the unsuspecting Wei Zhiqian.

Thus, the two of them slept together wearing the same clothes that they wore the day before.

Tan Mo’s clothes were slightly wrinkled too.

Fortunately, Wei Zhiqian had taken Tan Mo shopping and bought some clothes to be kept in the apartment.

Tan Mo often came to write her script, so more of the products that she used daily were now lying about.

It was convenient enough for her to change into a new set of clothes before going back to school.

Wei Zhiqian passed the phone to Tan Mo. “It’s Muye calling.”

Tan Mo took the phone and immediately answered before checking the time.

“Muye,” Tan Mo called out.

“Momo, are you not in school yet?” Qin Muye asked.

Qin Muye knew about Tan Mo going there to write her script.

Every other day, Tan Mo would go back to school early in the morning and wait for Qin Muye at the dorm entrance without going into the building. Then, along with Ming Ye Qing, the three of them would have breakfast together.

“I’ve been waiting downstairs by the dorms for almost 20 minutes, and there’s still no sight of you,” Qin Muye said.

Right then, Ming Yeqing was standing beside Qin Muye.

Because Qin Muye was afraid he’d miss Tan Mo passing by, he refused to leave.

Thus, Ming Yeqing went to the cafeteria to buy steamed buns and soy milk back for Qin Muye.

Qin Muye was munching away while he was talking on the phone with Tan Mo.

“What time is it now?” Tan Mo was quick-witted enough to come up with an innocent question.

“It’s half-past eight,” Qin Muye said. “If I’m not mistaken, I believe you have a class at nine o’clock this morning.”

“I’ll be right over,” Tan Mo said quickly.

“You haven’t left the apartment?” Qin Muye was surprised.

“Sorry, I… I overslept,” Tan Mo said guiltily. “I even made you wait twenty minutes for nothing.”

“That’s okay.” Qin Muye didn’t mind at all. “But have you had breakfast yet? If you haven’t eaten, we can go buy you some right now.”

“That’s fine. We’ll just eat at home,” Wei Zhiqian said as he stood beside Tan Mo.

He had clearly heard what Qin Muye was saying through the phone.

Qin Muye heard Wei Zhiqian’s voice. “Momo, is there someone next to you?”

“That sounded like the voice of Brother Zhiqian,” Qin Muye added.

“Yeah, he is here too.” Tan Mo was guilty and nervous but also a little excited as if she had done something mischievous.

She still called Wei Zhiqian her uncle out of her many years of habit.

If they really wanted to talk about seniority, she and Qin Muye could now be considered to be equals.

After all, Qin Muye always addressed Wei Zhiqian as an older brother.

As for her, she was now Brother Zhiqian’s girlfriend.

Thinking about that, Tan Mo couldn’t help but grin like a kitty who had just cheekily stolen a delicious sundried fish.

The sight of her made Wei Zhiqian’s heart tingle with desire. He wanted to hold Tan Mo in his arms and kiss her right there and then.

However, Qin Muye didn’t think much of it.

This was not the first time Wei Zhiqian was there.

His being there with Tan Mo was simply an ordinary occurrence.

Qin Muye was not surprised at all.

“I’ll come over once I’ve finished eating. Don’t wait for me,” Tan Mo said.

“Okay.” Completely unperturbed, Qin Muye hung up the phone and shoved the thought to the back of his head.

Wei Zhiqian plopped himself down by the side of the bed with a smirk on his face and said, “You said you weren’t gonna tell our family about our relationship for the time being. But what about Muye and Qing? Are you not gonna tell them either?”

Wei Zhiqian raised his eyebrows. “They’re your best friends.”

Not knowing what to say, Tan Mo covered her blushing face. “O-Of course I’ll tell them. There’s no reason to keep this from them. I’m sure they can keep a secret.”

Wei Zhiqian’s lips perked up, finally feeling a little satisfied.

Thank goodness Tan Mo wasn’t going to hide this from Qin Muye and Ming Yeqing too. He would have thought she found him too embarrassing to even tell her closest friends.

“When are you telling them? After you do, I can treat them to a meal.” Wei Zhiqian pulled Tan Mo’s hand into his palm playfully. “I could officially introduce myself to them as your new boyfriend.”

“Shall I tell them today?” Tan Mo looked at Wei Zhiqian questioningly.

Wei Zhiqian was overjoyed by how she seemed so cool about it. “Great, today it is! I’ll book a restaurant and come by to pick you up in the afternoon.”

Tan Mo nodded. Her hand that Wei Zhiqian held in his palm was burning up yet again.

Until now, she was still unable to fully wrap her head around the new status of their relationship.

Even more nervous than before, she no longer felt as comfortable as she used to be around Wei Zhiqian.

“Then, I-I’m gonna go get changed, so should you,” Tan Mo urged. “I have only 20 minutes to get to class.”

“Okay.” Wei Zhiqian nodded.

As soon as he let go of Tan Mo’s hand, she stood up and rushed out.

She had only one foot out the door when Wei Zhiqian pulled her back. “Where do you think you’re going?”

“I’m going to get changed,” Tan Mo said nervously.

Wei Zhiqian chuckled. “Isn’t this your room? Where did you want to go?”

Tan Mo was lost for words.

She was too nervous she hadn’t noticed where she was.

She thought this was his room.

“Young lady, are you feeling shy?” Wei Zhiqian lowered his head slightly, leaning closer to Tan Mo’s petite face.

Tan Mo buried her blushing face in her palms.

Even if he had seen right through her, he didn’t have to say it out loud.

Couldn’t he save her some pride?

Wei Zhiqian smiled and arched a brow. “Before today, you were totally fine when I held you in my arms, even though you were very much a woman. And yet, you weren’t shy then.”
